The SHARPAL 191H can sharpen all kinds of knives and scissors, except single-beveled edge knives and ceramic knives. It is suitable for household/kitchen straight-edge knives, outdoor/sporting straight-edge knives, serrated knives, and scissors.

To use the sharpener, simply press the black switch on the back to firmly attach it to the table, then insert the blade fully and vertically into the appropriate sharpening slot at a 90-degree angle. Gently pull the knife blade from heel to tip in the direction of the indicator arrows, repeating the action until the blade is sharp. For scissors, place the sharpener near the edge of the table, press the switch, and draw the scissors from hinge to tip in the direction of the indicator arrows. Serrated knives should be sharpened using the No. 2 CERAMIC slot only.
